The Hunter Education Independent Study Guide and Workbook has been carefully designed to provide information about hunting, firearm safety, hunter responsibility and ethics and other subjects. It allows a student to learn on his or her own schedule how to be a better hunter. This course is designed much the same as a home study course for new drivers, where students can learn at home and then demonstrate skills and knowledge on practical and written tests. The Independent Study Guide is designed in sections. Students study and complete one section at a time, answering all questions in the workbook. The course provides an excellent solution when scheduling conflicts or distance prevent students from attending regularly scheduled classes. Once the student has completed the workbook, he/she will be prepared for any other requirements of your jurisdiction's hunter education program.
